Beautiful, custom-printed wallpapers from the historic specialist wallpaper manufacturer Cole and Son will be online in the next few weeks, featuring designs by luminaries such as the Houses of Parliament designs by Augustus Welby Pugin, the iconic Arts & Crafts designer C.F.A. Voysey and the 1950s artists Edward Bawden and Eric Ravilious.

There are many rare designs in the archives that can be coloured and printed to your own specifications. Please let us know what you are seeking and we will arrange for samples to be sent to you.

We anticipate that the new site will launch in June/July. Whether you are seeking pieces for a Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Art Deco or Post-War home, we will soon be able to assist you. Please email us with the items you are looking for at: theartsandcraftshome@gmail.com or sales@designgallery.co.uk

Suffragette Movement Jewellery

Chrissie is currently researching a book which will include jewellery of The Suffragette Movement. The stones were usually peridot, seed pearls and amethyst. The colours – green, white and violet – represented the call to Give Women the Vote. If you have a piece of Suffragette jewellery or any family history relating to the subject, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please email sales@designgallery.co.uk
