The popular Furniture Warehouse Sale takes place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October 2016 at Easistore, Enterprise Way, Edenbridge, Kent TN8 6HF. Come and browse 2000 sq.ft. of Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Gothic Revival and Art Deco furniture, laid out over 5 or more rooms. The warehouse is open from 10am-5pm this weekend, and The Design Gallery is also open extended hours of 10am-5pm on both days. We will be standing at the Voewood Decorative Arts Fair on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October 2016. The fair is open from 10am-5pm both days. Voewood was designed by Edward Schroeder Prior (a pupil of Richard Norman Shaw) between 1903 and 1905 and the Arts and Crafts house is a unique butterfly design. The house is privately owned and rarely open to the public. Two for One Tickets can be downloaded at www.style1900.org The Design Gallery will be open as usual.
The Eltham Palace Art Deco Fair takes place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September from 10am – 6pm. We will be taking fabulous new furniture, lighting and jewellery stock to the Great Hall. Owned by English Heritage, the Art Deco mansion commissioned by the Courtauld textile millionaires sits alongside the medieval and Tudor palace that was inhabited by successive monarchs including Richard II and Henry VIII. The Design Gallery will be open as usual from 10am-5.30pm on the Saturday and 1pm to 5pm on the Sunday.

A dramatic Arts and Crafts Movement Oak Sideboard attributed to Wylie and Lochhead of Glasgow has come into the gallery this week. Decorated with chequered inlays, it has four cupboards, five drawers and a display area to the top with glass doors. Now showing on the website.

The exciting Eltham Palace Art Deco Fair takes place this weekend 7th and 8th May 2016 from 10am-6pm. The Design Gallery will be exhibiting as usual in the Great Hall with a rare, wraparound walnut-veneered Cloud Lounge Suite, Cloud Armchairs, a further selection of chairs and tables, new lighting and original jewellery stock from the 1920s and 1930s. The palace was the childhood home of Henry VIII and was extended into an Art Deco mansion by the eccentric Courtauld textile family with exterior friezes by Eric Gill.
